In spring 2025, Maryam Majd Art Projects (MMAP) introduced a new round of educational programs designed for individuals interested in or active within the field of visual arts. One of the latest courses offered by MMAP was the “Fundamentals of Gallery Management and Exhibition Space Administration.”

This course focuses on the key aspects of arts management, recognized as one of the most significant specialized fields within cultural management. The areas of practice for professionals in this field include the management of museums and commercial spaces such as galleries, artist management and studio operations, the promotion and marketing of artworks, the sale, packaging, and transportation of artworks, exhibition project execution, curatorial work, and many other related activities.

The course began in April 2025 and was held over 10 weeks through online sessions. At the end of the program, participants received a certificate of attendance. The online sessions were held via Google Meet.

The instructors for this course were Maryam Majd, Founding Director of MMAP; Sarah Yazdanirad, Project Strategy Director; and Azarakhsh Asgari, Archive and Collection Manager at MMAP.
